§ The Prime MinisterMinisters have made clear repeatedly in the House that the Government did not intervene in the application for a warrant to search the premises of the BBC in Glasgow. The hon. Gentleman's allegation is totally unfounded. At no time has any member of the No. 10 staff been in touch with the Strathclyde police about the matter.
