§ Mr. LuceThe education of young musicians is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science, but the Arts Council funds a number of bursaries and traineeships for practising professional musicians. I gave a reception for young artists of every kind on 6 January, and I was very pleased to meet a number of young singers and players on that occasion.
