§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a map of England identifying Country Heritage sites and areas of special importance for nature conservation which will be protected from industrial development and road planning.
§ Mr. Waldegrave[pursuant to his answer, 10 February 1987, c. 157]: The production of such a map is impracticable. However, details of all formally designated sites are notified to planning authorities so that their status can be properly considered when planning applications are made.
