§ Mr. GummerExport refunds are payable on beef exported to a wide range of third countries. As it is not eligible for payment of the beef variable premium, cow beef continues to be exempt from clawback. The 6 per cent. devaluation of the green pound agreed in December has helped the competitive position of all United Kingdom beef exports.
