§ Mr. HowardI recognise the value of the Mailing Preference Service to those individuals who wish to restrict the amount of unsolicited mail that they receive. Whilst I would encourage all providers of mailing lists to subscribe to the service, I have no plans to introduce legislation which would require them to do so.
