§ Mr. NewtonThe World Health Organisation has set up a network of collaborating centres in member countries to undertake research on various aspects of prevention and control of AIDS. In addition the organisation's special programme on AIDS is to have a research and development component which will assist in co-ordinating the international multidisciplinary research effort into the disease.
