§ 24. Mr. Douglasasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on initiatives between his Department and the Scottish Development Agency to combat increased unemployment in West Fife as a result of pit closures.
§ Mr. LangI have asked the Scottish Development Agency to consider the possibility of some form of economic initiative for the West Fife area, involving the local public and private sectors. Initial discussions on this are now under way.
