§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what use his Department has made of commissioned opinion polls in the past five years.
§ Mr. Ridley[pursuant to his reply, 5 February 1987, c. 770]: In 1986 the Department of the Environment commissioned NOP Market Research Ltd to conduct a survey amongst the general public in England and Wales to investigate atttitudes to a number of environmental protection problems. A report on the results will be published shortly.
