§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has received in respect of de-oxyribosenucleic acid testing in connection with immigration cases.
§ Mr. EggarWe have received representations from hon. and right hon. Members on behalf of constituents requesting the DNA test, together with similar representations from immigrant organisations and law centres. I hope that it may be possible to include a few of these cases in the pilot scheme to which I referred in my written answer to the hon. Member on 28 January at column283.
