HC Deb 09 February 1987 vol 110 c116W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he is satisfied with the workings of the Sports Council; if the Government have plans to increase the finances; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Tracey

My right hon. Friend is satisfied that the work of the Sports Council represents good value for money. The level of grant in aid will be discussed with the council later this year in the light of its corporate plan.
