Mr. Craigen

asked the Paymaster General what is the number of people on special employment programmes in each of the employment regions of the United Kingdom; and what percentage of places relate to those regions.

The numbers of people participating in the community programme, the voluntary projects programme, community industry, and the enterprise allowance scheme in each region of the United Kingdom are:
