§ Mr. JoplingInformation on payments authorised under the sheep compensation scheme 1986 is not available in the categories requested. The payments authorised for each leg of the scheme are indicated by area in the table below. The qualifying criteria for compensation were the same in each area, and so the figures reflect the extent to which the different areas have suffered disruption to their normal marketing patterns.
