asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what information he has as to the number of neighbourhood watch schemes in the Thames Valley police authority area.

On 31 December 1986 there were 155 neighbourhood watch schemes in the Thames Valley police authority area, nearly double the number which had existed three months before.
