asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations he has received following his decision not to refer the cases of those convicted for the Guildford and Woolwich bombings and of the Maguire family to the Court of Appeal.

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations he has received since he announced his decision not to refer to the Court of Appeal the cases of those sentenced for the Guildford bombing and of the Maguire family.

Mr. Hurd

1 have received 10 letters expressing regret at my decision in the Guildford and Woolwich pub bombings case; four letters expressing similar views in regard to the Maguire case; and 12 letters expressing similar views in regard to both cases.
