asked the Paymaster General how many prosecutions for underpayment have taken place since his introduction of the Wages Act 1986.

Since 25 July 1986, one employer has been prosecuted. Two other cases are due to be heard shortly.

asked the Paymaster General how many prosecutions have been brought against companies for underpayment for each of the last 10 years; and how many prosecutions have been successful.
