asked the Secretary of State for Transport what advice his Department issues on the operation of one-man buses; and if he will make a statement.

The Department has issued a code of practice on safety and other special requirements for public service vehicles intended for one person operation. In all other respects the way in which such vehicles are employed is the matter for the operator concerned.
