§ Mr. Michael ForsythMy right hon. and learned Friend is making a further £7.6 million available to the hospitals and community health service programme for 1987–88. The extra money is intended to help with reducing waiting lists, upgrading facilities for the mentally ill and mentally handicapped, enhancing equipment in acute hospitals and in combating the AIDS problem.
