§ Mr. MoynihanThe present system, which requires prenotification of the movement of special wastes to be sent to the appropriate waste disposal authority, will be extended as part of the implication of EC directive 84/631 on the transfrontier shipment of hazardous waste. We intend to implement the directive as soon as possible.
