§ Mr. GristThe majority of cystic fibrosis sufferers are children aged under 16 years who are exempt from prescription charges. Some older patients may qualify for exemption under arrangements set out in the leaflet P11 available from post offices, chemists and DHSS offices. National Health Service prepayment certificates are also available to anyone who is not exempt from charges and these can lead to considerable savings.
