§ Mr. MoynihanWhen the report, "Our Common Future", was launched in London in April, the Government immediately praised its forthright message that there would have to he a new era of economic growth if the world's environment was to be safeguarded. The Government's positive response to the report was summarised in greater detail by our permanent representative to the United Nations during a general assembly debate in October. I am arranging for copies of this speech to be placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
