HC Deb 17 December 1987 vol 124 c670W
Mr. Barry Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will meet representatives of Clwyd health authority with a view to establishing a firm date for the start of the building of Deeside community hospital and to restoring the proposed hospital to its original size and projected cost.

Mr. Grist

No. Our officials have already discussed with representatives of Clwyd district health authority the implications of their capital programme and a further meeting has been arranged for January. Proposals for Deeside community hospital will form a part of that discussion. Responsibility for the funding scale and timing of service developments in Clwyd rests with the health authority.
