§ Mr. Barry JonesTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will meet representatives of Clwyd health authority with a view to establishing a firm date for the start of the building of Deeside community hospital and to restoring the proposed hospital to its original size and projected cost.
§ Mr. GristNo. Our officials have already discussed with representatives of Clwyd district health authority the implications of their capital programme and a further meeting has been arranged for January. Proposals for Deeside community hospital will form a part of that discussion. Responsibility for the funding scale and timing of service developments in Clwyd rests with the health authority.
