Mr. JacksonThe report of the CERN review group, chaired by Professor Abragam, has just been received, and is today being presented formally by him to a meeting of the CERN council. The report, a copy of which is being placed in the Library, will now be the subject of detailed analysis prior to a substantive discussion of it, planned for the February meeting of the CERN council. At today's meeting the United Kingdom delegate will explain that the United Kingdom will wish to remain a full and active member of CERN provided that a sound basis for doing so in the future can be established.
