HC Deb 17 December 1987 vol 124 cc709-10W
Mr. Winnick

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services how many beds at the children's hospital, Birmingham, and the Queen Elizabeth hospital, Birmingham, are at present not available for use.

Mrs. Currie

The Department does not routinely monitor the availability of beds on a day-to-day basis.

The hon. Member may therefore wish to write to the chairman of Central Birmingham health authority for the information he seeks.
