§ Mr. NichollsThe Health and Safety Executive estimates that about 1.7 million workers may have a daily noise exposure of 85 dB(A) or more. This estimate is given in a consultative document proposing new regulations to control noise at work, published yesterday by the Health and Safety Commission.
