Mr. JacksonIn 1986, a total of 35 universities, polytechnics and colleges of higher education ran tourism-related courses involving 820 students in universities in Great Britain and 5,620 higher education students in polytechnics and colleges in England.

Mr. JacksonIn 1986, a total of 610 first degree graduates entered the category of hotel, catering and leisure management occupations which includes tourism.
