§ Mr. MoynihanThe total revenue raised by each water authority in its budget for 1987–88 is set out in the table. These comprise all sources of income taken into revenue account, including grants and other non-charge income and land drainage precepts.

§ Mr. MoynihanThe income and expenditure of the water authorities in England and Wales was set out in their annual reports and accounts for 1986–87 which were laid before Parliament on 15 July 1987. Copies are available in the Library. This information is summarised in "Water Facts" published annually by the Water Authorities Association. I will place a copy of the edition covering 1986–87 in the Library as soon as it is available.
