§ Mr. LuceAs I announced in answer to a written question on 5 November, at column848, the annual fund will be increased by £0.75 million to £3.5 million from 1988–89. This represents an increase of 27 per cent. and is the second substantial increase in three years. It will raise the fund in real terms to its highest level since the scheme was implemented.
