To ask the Minister for the Arts what was the level of business sponsorship of the arts in 1986–87; and what forecast he has made of future levels.

Mr. Luce

The Association for Business Sponsorship of the Arts estimates a figure of £25 million in 1986–87. I expect the level to continue to rise.
