To ask the Minister for the Arts whether the cost of the British Library project is included in the recently announced 17 per cent. settlement of arts funding over the next three years.

No. The three-year settlement of arts funding excludes the costs of the British Library capital project at St. Pancras, which will continue to be reviewed annually in the usual way.
