§ Mr. Alan ClarkIt is not possible to identify separately cheap cigarettes in the overseas trade statistics. Total United Kingdom imports for the seven months April to October 1987 amounted to 5,099.6 million cigarettes of a value of £32.5 million. For the previous seven months, September 1986 to March 1987, total United Kingdom imports were recorded as 9,926.7 million cigarettes of a value of £59.6 million.
