Mr. LathamTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will make a statement on the latest situation regarding the unlawful killing in Spain of Petty Officer John Black, Royal Navy, following the meetings between the Under-Secretary of State, the hon. Member for Kettering (Mr. Freeman) and the hon. Member for Rutland and Melton about this matter.
§ Mr. FreemanOfficers from the Metropolitan police force travelled to Spain last month in continuation of their investigation into the death of Petty Officer Black. They have now returned. A report of their visit has not yet been received.
