§ Mr. FreemanMy Department has received no claims from relatives of aircrew killed in flying accidents since the Crown Proceedings (Armed Forces) Act 1987 became law on 15 May. Any claims for compensation will be dealt with on their merits and on the basis of any legal liability on the part of the Ministry of Defence.
