§ Mr. John PattenThe last finalised accounts for prison industries were for the year 1985–86. Turnover for that year was £23.5 million, and the loss £25.5 million. Final accounts for 1986–87 are not yet available, but provisional figures are a turnover of £26.1 million and a loss in the region of £18.5 million.
