§ Mr. MoynihanMost public water supplies for which derogations have been sought from the European Commission are expected to comply with the EC directive relating to the quality of water intended for human consumption by 1990. Improvements are also being made or are planned for most supplies where derogations have been given by my right hon. Friend.
