HC Deb 02 December 1987 vol 123 c638W
Mr. William Ross

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what sums of official money have been paid and to whom in respect of expenditure on Sinn Fein incident centres; for which years or financial years they were paid; on which departmental rates they were borne; whether any accounts as to the expenditure of such sums were produced by the organisation which received such funds; where each such incident centre was located; and whether any are still operating.

Mr. Stanley

[holding answer 27 November 1987]: As far as my Department is aware, no financial assistance from public funds was ever paid to the self-styled incident centres that were established and run by Sinn Fein in 1975.
