§ Mr. William RossTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what sums of official money have been paid and to whom in respect of expenditure on Sinn Fein incident centres; for which years or financial years they were paid; on which departmental rates they were borne; whether any accounts as to the expenditure of such sums were produced by the organisation which received such funds; where each such incident centre was located; and whether any are still operating.
§ Mr. Stanley[holding answer 27 November 1987]: As far as my Department is aware, no financial assistance from public funds was ever paid to the self-styled incident centres that were established and run by Sinn Fein in 1975.
