To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many FI-111 aircraft are currently based in the United Kingdom.

The number of United States Air force FI-111 aircraft assigned to NATO and based in Europe, all of which are based in the United Kingdom, is published each year in the Statement on the Defence Estimates. For the most recent statement, I refer the right hon. Member to figure 15 on page 67 of Cmnd. 101-I.
