§ Sir John Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, in the light of the comments sent him by Mr. Robert Kee on his decision announced in the House on 20 January to refer the Birmingham pub bombings case to the Court of Appeal, he will reconsider his decision not to make a similar reference of, or appoint an appropriate inquiry into, the Guildford and Woolwich pub bombings case and that of Mrs. Anne Maguire, the late Patrick "Guiseppe" Conlan and their co-defendants.

We have asked the chief constable of Surrey constabulary for his comments on a specific point which has been raised about the case of Mrs. Anne Maguire and her co-defendants.
