§ Mr. Batisteasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many specific cases of human rights abuse he has raised with the Governments of (a) the Soviet Union, (b) Romania, (c) Poland, (d) Czechoslovakia, (e) East Germany and (f) Hungary in the last three years; and if he will list the names of the persons involved.
§ Mr. RentonSeveral hundred human rights and personal cases have been raised with the countries concerned, though none with Hungary, over the past three years. Lists of such cases are not kept and could only be produced at a disproportionate cost.
