§ Mr. WaldegraveNo; I have received no such request. Regulation 15(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 1984 enables the local planning authority to make representations to my right hon. Friend in favour of a direction that the provisions of regulation 14 for display, with "deemed consent", of certain types of outdoor advertisement (including estate agents' boards) shall not apply in a particular area or case. My right hon. Friend will naturally consider any such request which the council of the London borough of Camden may submit to him.
