§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the representations he has received from the western district Greater Glasgow health board local health council over the renal unit at the Western infirmary, Glasgow, about which the hon. Member for Glasgow, Maryhill wrote to him on 31 March.
§ Mr. John MacKayMy right hon. and learned Friend has received no representations from the greater Glasgow west local health council on this matter. The local health council has made a submission to a panel of inquiry set by the greater Glasgow health board and, as my noble Friend the Minister of State explained in his reply of 23 April to the hon. Member's letter, it would not be appropriate for Ministers to comment on that submission.
