§ Mr. PattieMy right hon. Friend attended the meeting of the National Economic Development Council on 1 April at which industrial innovation, including funding for research and development, was discussed.
I expect that the council will discuss this subject at future meetings in view of its importance for the improvement of industrial competitiveness.
