Power Station Sites

Mr. Orme

asked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if he will list by year and location the urban and non-urban power station sites owned by the Central Electricity Generating Board which were sold between 1979 and 1985;

(2) if he will list by location the urban and non-urban power station sites owned by the Central Electricity Generating Board which were sold in 1986;

(3) if he will list by location the urban and non-urban power station sites owned by the Central Electricity Generating Board which are currently for sale.

The sale of power station sites in England and Wales is the responsibility of the Central Electricity Generating Board. I have asked the chairman to write to the hon. Member.
