§ Mr. EggarNo. As I told the hon. member for West Bromwich, West (Miss Boothroyd) on 24 March, we 17W understand that KMS employs British citizens under a private commercial contract with the Sri Lankan Government to training services to their security forces. We have emphased throughout to KMS and to the Sri Lankan Government alike our view that British subjects should not be engaged in military operations of any kind in Sri Lanka.
