§ Mr. GummerThe sheep sector remains strong. Our breeding flock continues to expand steadily and our exports increased by 27 per cent. in 1986. My aim will be to ensure that the sector remains competitive and that sheep production can continue to play its important role, particularly in the economy of the hills and uplands.
