HC Deb 23 April 1987 vol 114 cc658-9W
Mr. Gordon Brown

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how much has been spent by the Scottish Development Agency in (a) Fife, (b) Dunfermline district and (c) Kirkcaldy district in each year since 1975, and as a proportion of total expenditure on (i) environmental improvement, (ii) industrial investment and (iii) all Scottish Development Agency expenditure.

Mr. Lang

[pursuant to his reply, 20 March 1987, c. 657]: The information, which is readily available only from the financial year 1981–82, is as follows:

Note: The base for the percentage calculations is total agency expenditure on the relevant programme in the year in question excluding expenditure which cannot be allocated geographically.
