§ Mr. Forthasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what arrangements have been made to appoint a successor to Mr. T. H. Kernohan in the offices of Northern Ireland Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration and Northern Ireland Commissioner for Complaints.
§ Mr. Tom KingHer Majesty the Queen has approved the appointment of Dr. M. N. Hayes, who is retiring from his post as permanent secretary of the Northern Ireland Department of Health and Social Services, to succeed Mr. T. H. Kernohan in both posts with effect from 9 July this year.
