§ 32. Mr. Allen Adamsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what forecasts the Government have made regarding the future of the United Kingdom's fishing fleet.
§ Mr. GummerThe future of the fleet will depend upon decisions taken by individual fishermen. They will take account of the available fishing opportunities and the recently agreed 10-year Fisheries Structures Regulation 4028/86 which will provide a basis for new investment in the industry.
In addition, I hope shortly to be able to make an announcement on a new capital grant scheme.
