§ Mr. John Fraserasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he received from the borough of Kensington and Chelsea an application for confirmation of a compulsory purchase order in respect of six properties at Coulson street and Anderson street, SW3; and if, in view of the time the premises remained empty, he will make it his policy to hold an early inquiry and make an early decision on the application.
§ Mr. John PattenCompulsory purchase orders made under the Housing Acts are dealt with as soon as possible, as stated in circular 6/85. The order in question was received on 17 February. An objection to the order has also been received and a local inquiry has been arranged for 17 June.
