§ Mr. DunnUnder the current arrangements for the approval of individual major school building projects, local education authorities certify that the work planned will conform to the requirements of the Education (School Premises) Regulations 1981. For most projects authorities submit cost details to the Department on a voluntary basis, but there are more detailed arrangements for the submission of costs relating to projects at voluntary aided schools and projects costing £2 million or more at county and controlled schools.
