§ Mr. Onslowasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what additional staff his Department is making available to support the advisory committee on salmon stocks.
§ Mr. John McKayThe Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland is in the process of recruiting an additional principal scientific officer to assist in the consideration of scientific matters raised by the salmon advisory committee. Existing scientific staff will also contribute to that work. In addition, the Department provides the committee's deputy secretary from existing staff resources.
